Starts With E....

Ok we got a lot of excellent OGG* names for the Pebbles twins (Pebbles x Promisedland Chaotic Bliss) and the boy is going to be called Electric BamBam. The girl we can't decide: on the one hand is the OGG* name Elegant Mayhem (Ellie), on the other the farmer's names Euphoregon (Euphie) and Thunderegg (Eggie), which has the e in the middle so I don't even know if it should be allowed. A thunderegg is a kind of rock found in Oregon, in fact it is the state rock of Oregon. You can look it up if you care. Elegant Mayhem is also good, because it is part Imperious Elegance and part Chaotic. Euphoregon is a long walk on a short pier, it does have a little bit of Bliss, and then it just has Oregon, portmanteau style but not really going anywhere, sort of a staycation of a name, but no other goat will ever have it, kind of like Secretariat.

Ok then we have the three orange triplets and one is already being called Orangina, so they obviously are in dire need of naming assistance. One is called Eric the Red, which could be worse because at least it starts with E. The third little orange girl is just being called "the third little orange girl." Someday soon, if no one intervenes, she will certainly be called "Thirdy." She has the personality of a basketball, just bounces around and off things, not a thought in her head.

Edward Scissorlegs
As far as Terra Belle's triplets, the two boys have no names at all whatsoever and the third tiny precious pet is Hannah Banana, which doesn't even have an e in it, much less start with an e, and she is being carried everywhere on a satin cushion and I think I know where that road leads. Okay then Blue Jaye's little son is being called Edward Scissorlegs for his way of standing, or should I say "standing," and the Belle Pepper doeling is ee velvet, same spelling as ee cummings. She is very poetic and has black curly hair and the disposition of an angel, and looks like she comes from a pretty how town.

So you can see, just as usual, some help is needed in the naming department.

Oh definitely Elegant Mayhem beats out the other 2 suggested names for Pebbles doeling--and not just because I suggested it. Thunderegg is too close to the word thunderthighs and even though it may be a rock and perhaps a very beautiful rock, I don't know, it conjures up thoughts of ugly. Euphoregon is not pronounceable. My vote--Elegant Mayhem (Ellie).

Surely the Goatfarmer is Ecstatic with the Expertise recently Exhibited by the Herd.

I agree. Elegant Mayhem. Love Orangina, but then I'm partial to food names. Thirdy, however, is awful! You must stop that immediately. You could put the word "ebullience" in her name and call her Beulah. Call one of the boys Thunderegg, which is a name that must be used, a boy won't mind the thigh master images. In any case, starting with E is way too difficult. Please jump to F. I've always thought that Flight of Fancy would be a good name.

We second that: Elegant Mayhem! What a name -- It pretty much sums up the entire goat kingdom.

Elegant Mayhem and call her Ellie May. That's my vote. She looks just like her momma. Start her show training now.

Eglantine is my favorite e-name... surely you can find a use? (I'm thinking tiny goat = big name)

And Euphrosyne and Eurydice ('you-FRAHZ-zin-nee' and 'your-RID-dis-see', for Ozarks GG) are fine goaty names. IMHO. =)

Seems to me that there ought to be an ebullient in there some where...did I miss it? Ebby is cute for a short version. Extra would work for a wether...of course, we may not want to encourage that...

The TMFGITW -NYC chapter chimes in that Elegant Mayhem is awfully nice, and as has been pointed out, shortens very sweetly to Ellie May.

Anything that gets a shortened nickname of Effie or Essy is also + 1 from us.

Although Thunderegg could be nicknamed out to Eggy-Boom and that is just too fun. It would then eventually become EggyBoo which is also awesome.

For Pebble's baby girl, how about Essonite? (Go ahead and Google it, I'll wait). It's synonym is Hessonite Garnet (aka Cinnamon Stone) which might make a nice substitution for "Thirdy," as neither start with an E and it is an orangey-red stone.

Ember for the orange one, Evander (pugilist), Embrace, but especially Ember I think.

Sorry I keep being Anonymous ... I don't know how to do any of the others.

Two of the nine Muses are E names:

Euterpe, muse of song
Erato, muse of lyric poetry

This from TMFGITW middle-east office, DXB.

Huh? What's all this talk about E names?? What's wrong with my suggestion of Sandy and Pepper or Salty and Sandy or Peppy and Salty or...nevermind! It's hard to explain!

Obviously poor 'Thirdy' should be Ethirdial since it conjures up 'extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.'

I know I'm late to the naming party, but what about Eureka?
