Ho ho ho

No time to write. Beautiful Christmas today. We gorged on Swedish Fish and Black Licorice that came in the mail.

Well, that's okay, I suppose. But we gorged on Mom's Best organic, slightly sweetened mini bites, the value of which was taught to the Goatmother by those fabulous girls at Cudzoo Farm. :) Who knew mini-Alpines had such good taste. Well, obviously they didn't get it from their full-Alpine genes which would cause them to prefer the box to its contents. :)

I have a problem with a few stand-offish goats who think when I am trying to pet them that I am trying to kill them, who will dash away, dash away at my slightest glance in their direction despite me using my sweetest voice (the one my husband doesn't know I have), providing grain twice a day and the most delicious and never-ending hay buffets open 24-7. I have encouraged those goats I have won over and who delight in seeing me come into their barn--Elvis, NoNo, Jethro and Ellie Mae, Buddy, Copper Penny, Cream in my Coffee, etc.--to talk with the wild ones and explain that I am not the devil herself. Ah, but to know avail. Please help me find the blog posting on how the goat farmer tried to tame a similar wild goat--catching it up and giving it niceities or some such word as that even though the goat proclaimed how it hated her. I have checked through past years posts--always a delight!--but could not find this particular one. Please help as I need to see if what the goatfarmer did will help me and my wild things out.

One other question: Is Pebbles pregnant????????????????????? Here in Missouri at the TMFGITW mid-west headquarters we are hoping this is the year for her to have a mini-me!

This is called getting put on friendlies, where you are captured and held prisoner. It is probably not legal in Missouri.
