Now for Some Rain and Wind

Harrowing day yesterday. Ice storm in the morning, trees snapping all day long. Power went out and we thought it would be out for several days since we are almost always last in line to get the power back on. But the power came back on! Then went out. Then came on! Then went off. Then came on! Etc.

None of us set foot outside the barn.

Today's forecast is for flooding, snow melt and rain then wind. Right now the rain is falling in the form of snow.

But the power is on!

That sound is me, cussing on your behalf.

Sounds like you are getting all of your weather for the year done in one week. There's nothing left but balmy, sunny days.

Yay for power! Perhaps you should get some exercise like GoatGirl's goats before the rain starts. Me, I don't need exercise. Besides, it is still only 29 degrees here. I sure hope they are right about that rain. With our luck, we'll get the rainshadow effect and be stuck with the snow forever. Oy.

Wholly Goatatrocious! We're all glad to be missing all that down here!

I started following you awhile back, but I've just now got around to reading your posts. LOVE them! I've especially enjoyed your slideshow. Thank you so much for sharing your lives!

Well. We are young yet and don't know much, but at least that snow and the falling limbs were something to look at. Now there is just MORE rain to stare at out the barn door. Is this boredom all there is to life besides fighting with each other and screaming for the handsome bucks who never visit? We suspect we are being abused and other rainbound Nigerians have cable. And a masseuse.
