Diary of a Dairy Goat. This blog is the diary of one goat, Baby Belle, a Nigerian Dwarf who lives on a small dairy farm in Western Washington.
I think about her all the time.
That was such a devastating day, I never got to meet her. We love you, Hannah Belle...
A great goat is never, never forgotten.
That's true, isn't it.
Society would have us believe that grief is a "journey" with a destination called "forgotten".Nothing could be further from the truth.
I second Karen C's comment. She was a great goat! She was Houdini like, very clever, funny and sweet.
Hey, ho! We didn't forget here either. The goatmother has it written on her calendar. Peanut misses his mum, and hugs go to the goatfarmer from everyone here. We know she needs them.
This is a sad anniversary. Hugs (or gentle headbutting depending on the species) to all, and remembering an extraordinary goat.

It's super rough to lose those special goats. ((hugs))
