A Note From the Farmer

Baby Belle died this afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who read her blog and to everyone who wrote publicly and privately sending her good wishes and good thoughts.

I knew we would miss her right away. I did not know how much.

Oh, Baby Belle.

  3. Oh, I am so terribly sorry. Can I have loved her having never met her, scratched her right behind the shoulder blades, fed her cookies?

Belle was the reason I got my Dottie, she looks so like her.

I'll miss her too. She was loved.

    Blessings,
    Lisa

  7. Oh, how our heart grieves for you. It is so hard to loose a friend like that. They are just a bit more than the other animals on the farm.
Please know how much she brightened our lives through her blog about life the farm.

  15. Oh, Baby Belle.....
I'm so sorry. You have been such a delight to "know" and all my thoughts and hugs go to your loving humans whom you've left behind. I know the pain they must be feeling right now.

  16. Oh my God, I am so sorry. I didn't know it would happen so quickly. I think losing our cherished animals is by far the hardest part of farming...and yet life wouldn't be the same without having those animals in it.

Blessings, Farmers...she was a wonderful herd member and friend. Hugs to you and the remaining herd.

    :(

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I have loved reading Baby Belle's blog over the last several years but rarely leave comments. Baby Belle had a good, good life with you. Does Baby Belle have kids that can continue the blog? It's delightful to read. Wishing you all the best.

I am SO SAD! I stumbled across this blog accidentally a year or so ago and have been a loyal reader ever since. Baby Belle is practically the only animal in the world that I like (seriously, I am NOT an animal fan). I wanted to come to your farm and meet her one day. *sniff, sniff*
